It's been a lonely year for Evelyn Shaw, who hasn't been able to hug, or even see, her family members because of the pandemic.
Evelyn and her oldest grandchild, Ataret Shaw, had been fully vaccinated, but Evelyn was still worried about the virus and still didn't feel comfortable visiting with her grandchild, Ataret.
So, what did Ataret do? She got her doctor to write a prescription stating that Evelyn was allowed to hug her! The doctor wrote the prescription, knowing a hug was the medicine that Evelyn needed.
With the prescription in hand, Evelyn finally felt comfortable to hug her grandchild, Ataret.
